Jodhpur
Jodhpur is one place that you like it or hate it instantly. Depends on who you meet and when you arrive. I have rarely met people who arrived jodhpur in April-August and fell in love with the place. But that is due to intense heat. September to March is when Jodhpur is at its best. Good Climate, Good People and Good Places to see. I spent a part of my college days here. Let me take you through some of the places here. First of all once in Jodhpur you need an "Auto Rickshaw". We call it Auto or also Taxi. But then don't ask questions in Jodhpur. Just enjoy your time.
The Auto is famous for many things. First of all if you had a good lunch it gets digested. If a lady is pregnant and about to deliver, the jumps in Rickshaw means she might deliver then and there. The Autos are decorated well, both from inside as well as outside. The Jodhpur Auto Drivers are considered to be the best in India. Both in terms of maintance of the vehicle as well in driving skills. You need to have a lion's heart to see it. The way to woman's trust is to win her heart. Similarly the way to see Jodhpur is to see the interiors. You start wih the Girdikot that has the famous Ghantaghar.
